Victorian Green Opaque Enameled Glass Biscuit Barrel






In the Victorian era British was one of the largest and the most powerfull country that spread between 6 continents worldwide. Within the era, it flourished a style that stands out of the crowd that style alone called Victorian style. Towards the end of Victorian era British imported the enameled glass from Belgium and Bohemian to meet the export demands in the world. This Biscuit Barrels is one of that example. Its made of the greenish opaque glass that is decorated by a charming enamel on the side complete with the brass lid and finial including the Biscuit Thongs. This Biscuit barrel is most probably made in Belgium in the 1880s which was one of the largest supplier of glass to the United Kingdom. Its total height is 26cm the glass only stands 15cm tall with 10cm diameter.
Its in a perfect shape and condittion and will make a perfect addition to any glass collectors cabinet.

The Art Nouveau Sculpture Lamp Of A Winged Woman (Egyptian Goddess Of Light)






The Art Nouveau period pieces will always make a statement to any house and to any antique collectors worldwide as they were short lived between 1895-1908 only before the Industrial Machine era and the World War I period. However the Art Nouveau early electric sculpture lamp are priced highly in the world of collectors, Why? As the electric era replaced the use of Kerosene lamp their surviving pieces are rarely seen especially in such perfect and delicate condittion. This Winged Woman Sculpture Lamp are just one of a very few left in the world, its actually a Egyptian Goddess of Light sculpture made using a French Spelter stand on a black marble base completed with an Art Nouveau etched glass shade that have the exact same pattern! Now thats something that we do not see very often. The total height of the lamp is 46cm, the sculpture alone with the base stand 31cm tall and is in a perfect condittion after 115 years of use as the lamp was made arround 1900s.

Portieux Vallerystal Blue Opaline glass compote 1930s







During its peak time in 1840-1870s French created the best glass that make a history to the world till today The Opaline glass. But those recipe was somehow lost after the downfall of the Third Empire (the fall of Napoleon III) and during the Art deco period, Portieux Vallerystal a well known glass maker in French try to recreate this finnest piece of glass and called their robin egg blue glass - PV opaline glass. Its was a huge success and very well known to thw world and within a very short period of time they create a fortune based on the production of this glass. This compote is one fine example of that PV blue opaline glass that were produced between 1920-1930 period. And still in a perfext condittion and shape. The diameter across is 20.5cm, 13.3cm tall and it will make a perfect addition to any glass collectors cabinet.

The Ottoman glass might not ring any bells to the collectors world wide but they were one of the most precious and one of the rarest glass the World has recorded . Ottoman Empire was one of the largest Empire the world has ever seen. They were spread from the Asia, Middle East to Europe. And they were one of the richest Islamic country in their time. This royal blue glass compote is one of the evidence that those civilization does exist. Its diameter is 28cm across, 13cm tall and still in the perfect shape and condittion including their white enamel decoration which they learn from the Venetian glass which at one time was their region too. This compote is made arround 1890-1900s era, and is a very very collectible items for true collectors and glass lover.

The next extra ordinary set up for sale is this Victorian Oil lamp with Corinthian Column base. The set was made arround 1880s in their heyday which the Victorian style and pattern distributed everywhere to the 6 continents worldwide. This set of oil lamp came with blown glass oil lamp font, fitted with old glass chimney and alaso comes with later added on oil lamp shade in the same pattern with the base. The extraordinary things about this set is that the column got the leaf pattern which is rarely happens in the Victorian Corinthian column base. The lamp total height is 64cm with the column height of 24cm. True collector pieces and will be a point of attraction in every home.

French Renaissance Guard Spelter Figural Oil Lamp









Something original and rare has always been worth to collect. This set of Bronzed Spelter figural oil lamp was made in French in 1880s with and object figural of Renaissance guard holding a rare Blue Optic glass oil lamp font fitted with acid etched cut glass shade which was fully mouth blown in the process of making. Spelter is a type of alloy which was primarily known as "the white metal" and has been used for many object d'art in French since 1860s - 1930s.
The Blue Optic Glass oil lamp font is so pretty with the imperfection mark shown in the picture above which is an original factory flaws and is very tolerable considered that it was made 130 years ago. The set comes complete with glass chimney and also still using a kerosene and can be modified without any trouble at all. The total height of the set is 66cm to the top of the chimney, and the height of the Bronzed spelter figural base is 29cm.
This set is hard to come by and is in a perfect condittion.
